MARCHANT DIARY.
In 1864 Philip Marchant (q.v.) kept a pencil diary of his photographic excursion into the Adelaide hills with his brother Henry (Harry) and another person named Webb. He also included an inventory of his photographic and other equipment dated 14 November 1864, which was ten days after he completed his trip to the hills. Philip Marchant was then almost 18 years old.
