The Australasian Photo-Review for March 1902 reported: ‘We are glad to know that a camera club has been started at Hawthorn, S.A., in connection with the Young Men’s Christian Association of that place, and that a dark room for the use of the members has been provided, which will be also available for visitors who, on application to the general secretary of the Y.M.C.A., may obtain permission to use the room.’
